In article the nature of scientific and art creativity is investigated. Their community and distinctions are defined. Receives the characteristic of a determinant of scientific and art creativity which actively proves in the field of pedagogics of music education. Musical art is shown as pedagogical potential at the levels: gnoseological, communicative, axiological, information. Feelings, attention, representation, imagination, perception, memory, thinking as the informative and communicative processes capable to make active the pedagogical potential of musical art are investigated. In the musical and pedagogical course personal qualities and properties of the performer-musician are studied: inclinations, temperament, character, abilities, interests, motives, requirements, emotions, feelings, will. The attention to culture of communication of the musician, his behavior in the art and figurative environment, world around in general is paid. It is emphasized that the musician not just learns, develops the world of artistic images. He lives and acts in this world, forming himself, improving the activity, changing the world, transforming him according to the set valuable coordinates (reference points)
