Pedagogical evaluation of the ancient Greek comprehension of the war in the V-VI centuries bce

The formation and development of the ancient Greek pedagogical culture were in the conditions of difficult boundary delimitation between war and peace. Some military conflicts were continuing for ten years and their description was the part of the literary tradition never neglecting the pedagogical issues. There are considered the works of the ancient authors of the Classical period who tried to identify the virtue of the soldier.
