Pedagogical support of professional self-determination of technical university’s students

The problem of professional self-determination of technical university’s students is the subject matter for many scientific teachers. The author considers the professional self-determination mechanism of this category of students, reveals the challenges faced by students and teachers at different educational stages. The paper examines the approaches to studying the phenomenon of professional self-determination by scientific teachers. The stages of professional self-determination are defined on the basis of the author’s professional background in this regard. In the author’s opinion, the pedagogical support of professional self-determination will be effective in the context of appropriate scientific and methodical, organizational, human resources environment. Students’ professional self-determination will be successful if the university provides pedagogical support to students in the field of theory (education) and practice (internship).
