Higher school pedagogy in modern digital realities

Educational structures and traditions often change slowly. The basic education system is largely preserved. The last truly breakthrough shift in the way we teach and learn occurred during the onset of the Industrial Revolution, when standardized curricula were introduced that focused on mathematics and reading. Artificial intelligence (AI) and information and communication technologies (ICT) can make another revolution in the way we live and work. Although AI and ICT will not replace the work of teachers yet, but they will be able, in our opinion, to join them as a colleague pretty soon. AI and ICT enabled learning tools demonstrate incredible potential for a wide range of applications, especially in the era of the technological revolution. From teaching assistance to supervision, their use will ultimately depend on the teaching philosophy. In the article, the author analyzes and shows all the pros and cons of learning in the digital realities of higher education.
