Training of future arts and crafts teachers based on the updated education content

The article discusses the renewal of the discipline “Arts and Crafts” in secondary schools of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The structure of the educational program has been updated, as well as the content and objectives of the material contained in it. It is considered the integration of Fine Arts and Handicrafts into a single discipline “Arts and Crafts”. We have described a system of person- and value-centered education, the structure, content and objectives of the educational program in the discipline “Arts and Crafts”. This, in turn, increases the importance of training professional personnel in the light of the updated educational program, and contributes to the acquisition of the necessary skills and abilities.
