Preparation of orphan children to life activities: historic and educational aspects

The article presents a historical educational analysis of the orphan children’s training for their future life activities. The author reviews some definitions of the life activity concept and researchers’ opinions, considers regulatory documents regarding the issue, and systematizes problems the boarding school graduates face when leaving the orphan asylum.
