Preparation of test tasks on disciplines of geometry-graphic cycle

The article examines the issues of improving the quality of geometry-graphic training in technical areas of universities under the constraints of limited classroom time. The application of testing to control the quality of education is considered. Analysis of existing tasks of this form for disciplines of graphic cycle is carried out. The aim of the study is to offer a method for creating test variations based on memorizing the simplest elements of a drawing. Based on the methodology of teaching hieroglyphic writing, the authors justify the use of closed-type tests for students to memorize the content part of the course of graphic disciplines. Moreover, the article postulates the conditions for improving the quality of geometry-graphic training of modern specialists of engineering and technical directions. Theoretical significance of the work consists in comparing the methods of studying the simplest elements of the drawing with the study of hieroglyphs when mastering foreign languages. The practical significance of the work lies in the recommendations on the construction of test tasks in accordance with the proposed methodology.
