Education of teachers in the Orenburg Teachers’ Training Institute (1876-1894)

The article deals with education of teachers in the Orenburg province. Basing upon study of archival sources the author considers Orenburg Teachers’ Training Institute’s activities on education of teaching personnel in the regional conditions. The research gives a general description of the state policy regarding teachers’ training at the late 19th century.
