Approaches to the formation of legal culture of orphans

The main purpose of this article is to define the theoretical foundations of the implementation of an effective system of forming the legal culture of orphans. The subject of research is the legal culture of orphans. To achieve the goal set in the article, the author, through the method of theoretical analysis of the research of modern specialists in the field of law, sociology and pedagogy, highlighted the specific characteristics of legal culture and legal education of orphans at the present stage of development of education and society as a whole. As a result of research, the article states the expediency of applying the principles of complexity and consistency in the formation of legal culture of pupils in residential schools, and also substantiates the need to take into account the preventive function of legal upbringing of orphans, defines the role of law enforcement agencies in the systems of forming the legal culture of this category of children.
