This article examines the potential of a multicultural educational environment in modern schools for fostering social engagement among adolescent students. Key concepts and structural components of a multicultural environment are analyzed, demonstrating its role as a catalyst for social initiatives, civic self-determination, and the development of communicative skills. Particular attention is given to an empirical study conducted using a questionnaire among adolescents, which revealed their perceptions of multicultural interaction and the influence of the spatial and spatial component of the environment (using the school museum as an example) on their readiness for socially significant activities. The results demonstrate a direct correlation between the level of development of a multicultural environment, adolescents’ involvement in its spatial and spatial organization, and their indicators of social engagement.
