The concept and general characteristics of persons controlling the debtor

The article examines the evolution of the concept of a controlling debtor in Russian bankruptcy legislation. The author analyzes the historical development of this institution, its modern legal regulation and the specifics of determining the status of a controlling debtor. Special attention is paid to the criteria for establishing control over the debtor and the ways to prove such control in the framework of bankruptcy proceedings.
