The concept and essence of human genetic information as an object of constitutional law regulation

The article is devoted to the consideration of the disclosure of various theoretical, methodological and normative approaches to defining the concept and essence of human genetic information as an established object of constitutional law regulation. A constitutional and legal view is formulated on the legal significance of genetic information, the legal consequences of its use, and the interpretation of its object composition at the present stage of development of genomic research. The main directions of potential development of constitutional law regulation of social relations related to the receipt, use and disposal of genetic information are shown. Conceptual directions for constructing constitutional law norms on genetic information in the discourse of ensuring human rights and freedoms of citizens as the highest public legal value are proposed.
