Concept of self-actualization of personality: interdisciplinary approach

The article deals with the approaches to the definition of the concept “self-actualization” based on the interdisciplinary analysis of the scientific works in Philosophy, Psychology and Pedagogy. There are revealed the dominants that are necessary to consider in the pedagogical studies of the self-actualization of the personality on the basis of the correlation of the author’s definitions with the categories “need”, “ability”, “value”, “phenomenon” and “process”.

Concept self-actualization, self-actualization as a need, self-actualization as an ability, self-actualization as a value, self-actualization as a phenomenon, self-actualization as a process.
