Potential of Regional Space in Updating Practice-Oriented Training for Directors’ Advisors on Education

This article examines the specifics of introducing the position of advisor to the director for educational activities in Russian educational institutions. The experience of various regions is analyzed to identify common trends, the conditions for effectiveness, and emerging problems. Particular attention is paid to regional specifics, the resource base, and the priorities for introducing this position. The study is based on an analysis of scientific publications and open-source materials. Key factors for the successful implementation of the advisor position are identified, as well as problems associated with the uncertainty of functionality and insufficient training of specialists. A model for training advisors developed at M.E. Evseviev Moscow State Pedagogical University, which takes into account the current needs of educational institutions, is presented. The master’s program “Management of Educational Activities and Youth Policy” aimed at developing management competencies is described. Some results of the implementation of the advanced training program for advisors from various regions of Russia are presented. The role of the regional space as a resource for practice-oriented training, including interaction with public organizations and participation in regional projects, is emphasized. Provisions are formulated to ensure the effectiveness of the adviser’s activities, including a clear definition of the functionality and the creation of a support system.
