Improving the efficiency of teaching foreign languages in the context of globalization and digitalization of the learning space

The article discusses the main trends in the application of innovative educational technologies in the field of teaching foreign languages. It is noted that the use of an interactive approach in teaching foreign languages increases the degree of comprehensibility of the educational material. It has also been established that a set of interactive methods in teaching foreign languages is the best response to the challenges of the modern educational space, characterized by globalization and digitalization. It is concluded that as a result of globalization and digitalization, it is necessary to improve the methods of teaching foreign languages based on the transformation of the learning space in order to provide increased motivation for students of all levels of training. The article also points out that in connection with globalization and digitalization, the need for specialists who speak several foreign languages at once is increasing. In connection with this circumstance, we can conclude that the need to study foreign languages on the basis of a student-centered approach will steadily increase. Obviously, the school period of learning foreign languages is one of the most favorable, since the cognitive activity of students is at the highest possible level, so the task of the teacher is to build the educational process in such a way as to constantly increase the motivation of students to learn foreign languages, proving to them exactly how the knowledge they acquire will be useful in their later life. The expansion of objects through distance learning in the study of foreign languages contributes to the intensification of the educational process.
