The practice of spiritual and moral education of students in the «school - university» dyad: an interdisciplinary approach

In recent years, there has been some unity of views on the essence of the spiritual and moral education of students in the educational space. The study aims to identify the importance of a humanities teacher’s role in the formation of moral values of schoolchildren, to determine effective methods and techniques of interdisciplinarity in the development of axiological orientations of students. The authors have conducted a study on the challenges of preparing pedagogical specialists for effective educational work in the process of teaching schoolchildren. A sufficiently high potential of future teachers in the development of spirituality and morality of the younger generation is noted. The article describes the versatile pedagogical experience of the staff of the municipal budgetary general education institution «Secondary School № 5 named after Nikolay Krivoshapkin» in the Yakutsk city district within the framework of the educational program «Fundamentals of World Religions: The Origins of Morality» (history teacher - E.N. Nikonova). Conclusions are drawn about the need for purposeful pedagogical education of students using an interdisciplinary approach.
