The article analyzes the possibilities of involving students studying economics in the educational process. The authors, based on their teaching experience, show the possibilities of using input research to enhance the learning process in universities. Thepractical advantages of using input research for students of different courses studying economic subjects are analyzed. Input research, as an educational technology, allows you to identify the level of awareness about the subject being studied, their outlook and life position, and create an atmosphere of trust and interest. It becomes clear to the teacher which topics of the course should be given more attention, what stereotypes of students’ thinking will need to be overcome, HOW to best conduct lectures and seminars with them.
