Practice-oriented methods of training specialists in the field of countering extremism and terrorism

The article is devoted to the formation of professional competencies in the field of counteracting extremism and terrorism in cadets and students of educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia through the use of practice-oriented methods. The article considers possible forms of training relevant specialists in Russian educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as the principles of designing and implementing a model for introducing practice-oriented methods in the process of training specialists in the field of counteracting extremism and terrorism. Special attention is paid to the functioning of departmental universities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia on a permanent basis of groups for interaction with practical bodies, the activities of which made it possible to highlight examples of practice-oriented methods developed on the basis of experience in counteracting various manifestations of extremism and terrorism in the real and information and telecommunication space.
