Legal bases of secondary vocational education in the Russian Federation and People's Republic of China: comparative analysis

The article carries out a comparative analysis of the legal regulation of the secondary vocational education in China and Russia. By analyzing the principle laws in the field of education that are effective in the two countries, the author has found similar and distinctive features of secondary vocational education systems in the field of state regulation, ideological framework, financing, cooperation with industry and the role in the economy.
