The background of the organization and forms of open innovation in the modern economy

The article presents an analysis of the conditions for the emergence and attributive features of the open innovation model. The aim of the study is to determine the advantages and disadvantages of open innovation strategies. Particular attention is paid to the study of the evolution of the forms of organization of research and development work in the industrial sector, as the central link in the network type of the innovation cycle. The influence of specialization and centralization processes on the efficiency of innovation processes in the modern economy is revealed.
