Airline representative station as the subject of management and economic control of ground handling providers

In modern conditions, the economic efficiency of participants in the aviation services market can vary significantly, the hallmark of successful airlines is the ability of management to make flexible decisions and adapt production processes to a rapidly changing external environment. According to the authors of the article, in order to achieve the cost-effectiveness of the flight, its safety, punctuality and comfort for passengers, each carrier needs to develop its own quality management business model when interacting with suppliers of unearthly services. The authors propose to create a business model for the control and supervision of ground service providers based on the station office of the airline. The article provides an analysis of the market for ground handling providers in Russia, identifies key market leaders, and defines the list of services provided. Particular attention is paid to the disclosure of the concept of SLA and its applicability in the aviation industry. At the end of the study, the author’s business model is proposed, brief conclusions and the expected effect of implementation are given.
