Aspects of the implementation of continuity in the preparation of bachelors and masters of education for the design and implementation of additional education for children are considered. The possibilities of program academic disciplines for the development of continuity between the basic knowledge, skills and abilities of students are revealed. The content of training tasks used in the training of bachelors and masters: solving academic problems, making annotated catalogs of periodicals, studying the experience of pedagogical activities of teachers of additional education, analysis of types of control and measurement materials to assess the achievements of students, etc. is presented. The conclusion is that the reliance on the principle of continuity of educational material in the training of masters and bachelors contributes to a more solid assimilation of knowledge by them, expands the prospects of studying certain issues, clarifies students' ideas about their future professional activities and motivates them to intensify their cognitive activity.
