Continuity of foreign language teaching in the system of lifelong learning (agricultural school - agricultural university)

The article emphasizes the aspects of continuity between general secondary and higher education, as well as the establishment of successive ties for effective foreign language teaching in the system of continuous agrarian education. It is emphasized that the continuity of foreign language teaching not only strengthens the link between agricultural school and agricultural university, but also provides students with the opportunity to apply their knowledge in the professional sphere as effectively as possible. The authors also explore the factors influencing this process and the methods that aid in addressing the knowledge gaps necessary to ensure continuity in foreign language education within the system of continuous education, specifically from agricultural schools to agricultural universities. This article presents the results of a survey conducted among first-year students of the Federal State Educational Institution of Higher Education “Arctic State Agrotechnological University” (ASATU) regarding the challenges encountered when learning a foreign language at the higher education level.
