The article is devoted to the analysis of the problems of teaching the aspect of Germany linguistics and regional geography at the humanities facultie in DonNU. According to the working programs of the academic disciplines "Foreign language" and "Second foreign language" is expected a significant increase in the volume of knowledge of humanities students in the process of working with authentic materials in the foreign language (German) and the second foreign language (German). Representatives of the professions graduated from the Faculty of History of our university must have deep knowledge of history, sociology, psychology and cultural studies. The professional orientation of the studied material in a foreign language opens up great prospects for the interaction of this discipline with the disciplines of professional and special cycles, both within the educational process and in the research work of humanities students. The study of sources in the original language is one of the most important conditions for obtaining more accurate and complete information. Information processes are becoming the dominant component of human and social life. At the present stage of development of educational practice, the problem of finding new, intensive forms of organizing the educational process has become actualized, which entailed the integration of information technologies into education and the selection of distance learning technologies among them. The use of various Internet technologies in connection with the widespread introduction in recent years of interaction between teacher and students in a distance format provides the key to effective distance education.
