Reasons and conditions for a consultation with a hematologist in medical organizations private healthcare system

The results of the analysis ofthe reasons for consultation of 200 adults in 2independent medical centers are presented inthe paper. The majority of those who contacted ahematologist were between the ages of 30 and 60.There was a significant preponderance of females inboth medical centers (72 % and 87 %). The leadingcause of treatment (29-46 % of patients) wasanemia, most often - iron deficiency. The mainreasons for contacting medical organizations ofthe private health care system were a decreasein the availability of specialized hematologicalcare in medical organizations of the public healthsystem and insufficient primary care physiciansin diagnosing blood system diseases.
