The article examines the issues of quality management in the context of theatrical activities, with an emphasis on the implementation of the principles formulated in the standard GOST R ISO 9000-2015. The relevance of the study is due to many organizations’ commitment to improve the competitiveness of the services provided by applying the tools and principles of quality management. The work highlights the experience of forming and implementing the principles of quality management in the organization of the theater sphere, the main problems of implementation, as well as the methods and tools used in this case. As a result of the study, the key aspects of effective quality management in the organization of the theater sphere were identified and the corresponding conclusions that can be useful for practicing specialists and researchers in this fieldwere formulated.
