Students of not chemical professions are given fewer lessons of analytical chemistry according to the curriculum. It results in insufficient comprehension of some themes, «Qualitative reactions of cation and anion detection» in particular. This work gives an example of analytical reactions when examining reasons of defects in concrete. It will help students understand and remember the material to be studied better.
