Teaching aids implementation while training the students majoring in physical education

The study presents the results of a theoretical analysis of updating teaching aids in the context of the high-mobility education. First of all, the implementation of the competency-based approach to education and the computerization of the academic process imply the ever-changing methods of student engagement when the educational institution starts to function in the information society. Teaching aids applied in the academic process are considered to be the present-day needs of lecturers and students. The author analyzes the environment conducive to mastering knowledge, expanding the horizons, and improving achievements of the bachelor’s degree students. The study defines the requirements that must be met by teaching aids during the classes. Teaching aids are considered as a way to promote aesthetic education and develop the information culture of the object and subject of education. It is established that the effective implementation of teaching aids depends on their right place in the training system and the streamlined lesson structure as well. The results of the questionnaire of the bachelor’s degree students majoring in physical education confirmed the effectiveness and relevance of applying various teaching aids within the syllabus. The research shows that using video materials and video analysis software has a significant positive effect on academic progress.
