The article deals with the methodological basis of the evaluative process of the professional competencies of the future teacher by the means of the immersive technologies. On the basis of the interpretation of the fundamental concepts and the basic points of the selected methodological approaches and the substantiated correlation between the approaches there are formulated and uncovered the principles of the evaluation of the professional competencies of the future teacher with the use of the immersive technologies. The author characterizes the kinds of the immersive technologies and their advantages in the process of the evaluation of the professional competencies of the future teacher. There are determined the further prospects of the scientific studies in the sphere of the evaluation of the professional competencies of the teacher on the basis of the use of the immersive technologies.
