The article is on the problem of development of music teachers’ professional training in the context of actual modern tendency of international community - intensification of crosscultural dialogue, which requires reconsideration of methodological, theoretical, methodical and technological positions of organization of process of mass education and professional training of specialists are able to organize mass education on the new principals. The process of organizing crosscultural dialogue is considered on the example of studying by Russian students - music teachers the Uygur musical instrumental art, that is the essential part of Chinese musical culture, attracting the attention due to extension of social-economic and sociocultural contacts between China and Russia.
