The study examined a spectrum of endometrial hyperplastic processes in peri- and postmenopausal patients. High efficiency was demonstrated for complex ultrasound tomography including high-tech methods dopplerography and 3-D angiography (accuracy 93.0%, sensitivity 93.8%, specificity 91.9%). The principles of primary diagnosis in postmenopausal patients with hyperplastic processes have been developed. Indications have been developed for conducting gentle diagnostic procedures in postmenopausal patients with the presence or suspicion of a hyperplastic endometrial process. High efficiency of endometrial aspiration biopsy (ABE) was shown (information value was 96.7%). In the absence of ultrasound data for the malignant process of the endometrium and the absence of atypical endometrial cells according to the results of an endometrial aspiration biopsy, patients in postmenopausal women should be left under dynamic control (1 time in 3 months).
Atypical uterine bleeding, postmenopause, endometrial cancer, ultrasound tomography, endometrial aspiration biopsy
