Criteria of zonal classification of spare parts

The paper presents the results of operability analysis of motor and tractor equipment. It reveals the need of spare parts characteristics accounting, which could help to classify groups of parts for technical service of machines regarding the zonal conditions of machine utilization. The purpose of the study is to select criteria of spare parts zonal classification during repair and technical maintenance. The factors determining the choice of spare parts classification features were studied: ambient temperature, material of parts, specific load on them, utilization factor, etc. The study results are the following: low ambient temperatures (the first feature) limit the operability of parts, increase their susceptibility to cold brittleness (the second feature), and determine the range of intensively worn components (the third feature) due to the tightening of machine load mode (the fourth feature). Spare parts classification, regarding influence of machine utilization zonal factors, is not fully implemented in repair units of agroindustrial complex. Review and analysis of zonal classification criteria of machine elements will improve spare parts planning for technical maintenance of machines, and increase the level of their maintainability and operability.
