Young educators' problem of adaptation in a general education institution in the context of vocational training of prospective teachers

The relevance of solving the problem of successful adaptation of young educators in a general education organization is substantiated in this paper. Based on a survey of novice teachers practising in general education institutions, the problems experienced by young educators during their adaptation to vocational activity in school have been identified. Examining the results of the survey showed that young educators have typical difficulties with their own professional adaptation, as well as with their social-psychological and psychophysiological adaptation. At the top of the list for young educators were problems related to the psychophysiological aspects of adaptation. The nature of the course of psychophysiological adaptation also affects other aspects of adaptation, often causing employees to job-shift. Revealing the typical difficulties experienced by teachers in their first year of work in a school made it possible to outline ways of preventing them in the vocational training of students - prospective teachers, contributing to the successful psychophysiological, socio-psychological and professional adaptation of young staff in the system of general education.
