The article is devoted to the problem of changes in professional and personal qualities requirements of dancing disciplines teachers in the educational institutions. The institutions deal with the ballet dancers training are facing the changes in connection with the forthcoming introduction of the third generation federal state educational standards, developed with the application of the competence approach.
