Translation problem of pun-in-movie

This article is dedicated to the translation of pun as a stylistic device. The paper gives the definition of this device and considers the main pun translation strategies and methods on the basis of comedy films and series which are one of the main sources of puns. Various authorized and channel translations of audio-visual texts and particularly translation of puns are analyzed in the article.
