The symbolic search for the Other and dialogue with it in N. V. Kolyada's drama becomes a meaningful constant, combining with formal elements characteristic of absurdism, but reinterpreted by the author (heroes-doubles and, at the same time, heroes-antagonists; metaphysical “properties” of characters; the image of threshold situations and States, existential processes of loss and gain, the strongest expressive outbursts caused by emotional shocks, the release of accumulated negative emotions, etc.)., raised in the plays of M. Volokhov, - truth and related issues of understanding morality and the distinction between good and evil - are solved at several levels, associated with the removal of two main prohibitions: the ban on the use of language in all its various forms and the ban on discussion of important for humanity, but often hushed up, topics. The semantic segment of O. Mukhina's play “Ю” can be expressed implicatively through the reception of symbols, allusions (A. P. Chekhov, D. I. Charms), absurdity (figurative system and system of dialogues).
