Problem aspects of determining and classification of crimes in the field of entrepreneurial activity

The article considers the problems of defining crimes in the field of entrepreneurial activity, analyzes some approaches to the classification of these crimes. The author, examining the legal definitions of concepts, entrepreneurial activity and crime, as well as taking into account the prevailing law enforcement practice, gives a definition of the structure of “crime in the field of entrepreneurial activity”. A proposal is being formulated to single out a separate chapter in the special part of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation on the protection of business relations. Based on the analysis of existing approaches to the classification of these crimes, the author identifies the most successful, offers recommendations for its improvement.
