Problematic aspects of the lawyer'S exercise of the right to a lawyer'S request

The authors of the article investigate the problematic aspects of the institute of lawyer inquiry. The concept and legislative bases of the lawyer's request are revealed. The uniqueness of this institution as a source of information (evidence) in the professional activity of a lawyer is indicated. At the same time, it is concluded that the application of this legal instrument is difficult and ineffective due to the existing problems related to the legal status of the lawyer's request, law enforcement capabilities and indifference on the part of subjects obliged to comply with the legislative requirement to provide an answer to the lawyer's request. The conclusions made by the authors in this work are aimed at once again drawing attention to the problems within the institute of lawyer inquiry.
