The article deals with the pedagogical model of formation of communicative readiness to foreign language acquisition of students majoring in non-linguistic disciplines. The author considers the communicative readiness of students as an integrative and dynamic quality of future specialists. Development of students’ communicative readiness to effective acquisition of a foreign language is understood as a process of purposeful, comprehensive qualitative personal change.
