Digitalization problems and risks in logistics and control tower concept

The article summarises key and principally new digitalization problems, which appeared for the companies and logistic systems during pandemic period when digital systems have been spreading rapidly due to the need of distant business processes and transactions. The author analyses the systematic nature of digitalization problems in supply chains, researches the phenomenon of the ‘digital chaos’ in supply chains and states main requirements for the digital systems in logistics and supply chains. The author presents the features and opportunities of the Supply Chain Control Tower concept as basic methodological approach to the digitalization and blockchain application in supply chains when ‘digital chaos’ exists and influences them.
