The paper examines differences in traditions and orientations, values and meanings, attitudes and perceptions, which can have a powerful effect on staff functioning and organizational effectiveness as a whole by serving as guidelines in designing the socio-professional environment and organizational culture in multi-ethnic workforce management practices. The development of new industries and logistics, means of mass communication and transport in the 20th century has contributed to increased cultural exchange, exacerbating the problem of inter-cultural interaction in labor and professional relations. The psychology of cultural differences is becoming an important part of an organization's workforce management strategy as it explores new markets, relocates production to other countries and attracts foreign investors and shareholders using modern means of remote communication.
