Problems of distinction of prosecutor's supervision over the execution of laws and supervision of observance of the rights and freedoms of human and citizen

This article discusses the feasibility of distinguishing at the legislative level such branches of prosecutor's supervision as supervision of the implementation of laws and supervision of the observance of human and civil rights and freedoms. It is suggested that it is necessary to amend the acts of federal legislation concerning the exercise of the supervisory functions of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation in order to more effectively regulate the supervisory activities.
