Process approach to improving the management mechanism of hospitality in Russia and the Republic of Crimea

The article is devoted to the study of trends and directions of hospitality development in Russia and the Republic of Crimea. The subject of the article is the organizational and economic mechanism of managing hospitality enterprises. The strategic direction of the industry as a necessary condition for successful integration into the economic system of the country is substantiated. The aim of the study is to form a process model of the mechanism of management, which corresponds most of all to the objectives of the hospitality development of the Republic. Hypothesis says that there is a strong relationship between the financial and economic results of the core enterprises of the industry and the current organizational and economic mechanism. Main research methods include formal-logical method, business process modeling, system and situational approaches. The results of the work include studying the main factors of developing the industry and specialized enterprises, identifying the features of the market of hotel services, its attractiveness for domestic and foreign investors. The influence of new and developed types of tourism, event calendar in improving the efficiency of the hotel industry is characterized. Statistical and forecast data on the main financial and economic indicators of the industry are considered and analyzed. The obtained results can be used as a basis for the strategy of developing hotel enterprises of the Republic of Crimea, growth rate planning and reasonable calculation of the quantitative impact of risk factors. There are revealed the perspective directions providing steady growth of the profile enterprises, the problems and restrictions connected with the special integration period of the hotel complex of the Republic of Crimea in the economic system of the country. The main directions of future research are related to studying the set of measures to reduce the negative impact on the hospitality implementing modified organizational and economic mechanism of management based on the process approach, which involves tracking the qualitative changes. Limits are caused with the peculiarities of assessing the level of transforming technologies, processes and resources at each hierarchical level, as they may be significantly different at the micro level.
