Projecting and development of scientific publication at higher school: realities and aspirations

The problem of forming skills of writing scientific articles by pedagogical higher school students is updated. Detailed analysis of scientific publications focused on understanding what a scientific article is from the point of view of structure, content, concepts, language and style is presented. Results of students’ questionnaire on the experience of writing scientific articles, motivation of scientific publications, psychological, professional and technical difficulties are given. It is concluded that one of the key problems of working on scientific publication is the fact that research skills and competences are not a priority basis for students in research. An idea of developing an elective course to prepare students for writing scientific articles at higher school is proposed.
