Designing a model for the process of forming critical thinking in students of basic secondary school

The paper considers the author's approach to designing a model of critical thinking formation in students in classroom and extracurricular activities, the features and main components of this model. The specifics of the author's program based on the experimental site “FabLab” of the center of the digital and humanitarian profile “Point of Growth” are revealed. The model for the process of students' critical thinking formation is understood as an integral system that includes interrelated components: motivational, containing a set of motives and attitudes, readiness to carry out critical analysis at the challenge stage; cognitive, reflecting intellectual abilities at the stage of understanding the content; activity-oriented, expressed in the experience of critical thinking; reflexive, representing the ability to analyze actions analytically and synthetically at the stage of reflection. At the same time, all components are systemic and interconnected on the basis of a common goal, objectives, pedagogical conditions, implementation principles, procedural components, results, reflection and correction. The results of experimental work carried out on a reliable diagnostic basis using methods of mathematical statistics are presented.
