Designing an End-To-End Project Management Process Using BPMN

Free access

The article presents a BPMN model of an end-to-end process for managing projects and contractor relationships in construction. The model covers the full project lifecycle — from planning and selecting a performer to operations and implementing improvements. The first-level model formalizes the key decision on the execution method (in-house or contractor) and integrates project management, quality control, and contractor management. Using the contractor search stage as an example, the second level details the coordinated actions of departments for vendor selection and contract conclusion. The result is a formalized description for subsequent process regulation and automation.
