Project activities in kindergartens provide children with a unique opportunity to become active participants in the educational process. This teaching method allows children to explore topics of interest to them, develops teamwork and critical thinking skills. It also plays an important role in the education and development of older preschool children. It allows children to demonstrate their creativity, develop research skills, develop communication skills and broaden their horizons. One of the main tasks of modern education is to cultivate curiosity in older preschoolers. Curiosity helps a child actively explore the world around them, ask questions and look for answers. It serves as the basis for the development of cognitive interest, critical thinking and creativity. One of the most effective ways to develop curiosity in children is project activities. By participating in project activities, older preschoolers become active participants in the educational process, can independently study topics of interest to them and develop their skills. Research by scientists T. A. Danilina, M. B. Zuikova, L. S. Kiseleva, T. S. Lagoda showed that active intellectual development helps preschoolers successfully engage in project activities. This effectively develops their curiosity and teaches them to be active participants in the educational process.
