Professional orientation in teaching English to law students in the digital environment at the university

The aim of this article is to review the substantive and technological components of professionally oriented foreign language communicative competence (POFLCC) for law students in the digital environment at university. The following objectives are outlined: to specify the components of POFLCC for law students in the digital environment, to identify potential practices for professionally oriented English language teaching at university, and to update the technology for developing POFLCC for law students in the digital environment. Research methods employed include theoretical analysis of scientific and pedagogical literature, systematization, and generalization. Modern methods for teaching professionally oriented English language are examined, along with a classification of linguodidactic and professionally oriented materials for legal education programs. The study identifies research directions in the field of professional orientation in teaching English to law students and presents several digital educational trends applied in university English language classes.
