Training of Spanish interpreters using digital technologies

The article discusses the professional training of interpreters based on the use of digital technologies. These specialists are distinguished by the following professional characteristics: knowledge of the source and target languages, culture of the ethnic groups using them, academic training, etc. Due to modern realities and the constantly progressive development of information capabilities, translators are increasingly choosing digital technologies to develop their own cognitive skills and improve the effectiveness of their professional activities. Current trends in interpretation indicate a growing volume of content that is subject to translation from one language to another due to the globalization of economic, cultural and scientific processes taking place in human society. This circumstance causes a change in the requirements for the professional competencies of specialists in this field. Consequently, there is an increasing need to modernize the teaching methods of interpreters and to find new approaches to this process.
