The article provides a detailed description of the concept of “prevention” in the context of peda-gogical conflictology, describes the methods of prevention (structural, administrative, psychological). Conflict pre-vention is considered as a system of measures aimed at minimizing the causes of conflict situations and preventing their possible negative consequences. The specifics of interpersonal conflicts in teaching groups are revealed, and the causes of their occurrence are highlighted. The article presents the experience of implementing a conflict pre-vention program among teachers, which includes theoretical and practical blocks, a series of training workshops, and ways to teach conflict resolution. Testing was used as a diagnostic tool. The article presents a discussion of the research results among city school teachers, shows the dynamics of changes in the level of conflict tolerance, positive and negative aggression, and teachers’ tendency to conflict. The preferences of teachers in choosing a strategy of behavior in interpersonal conflict have been identified and substantiated.
